1 Timothy 2:1-4/ Pray for Our Leaders

"First of all, then, I urge that supplications, prayers, intercessions, and thanksgivings be made for all people, for kings and all who are in high positions, that we may lead a peaceful and quiet life, godly and dignified in every way. This is good, and it is pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth." 1 Timothy 2:1-4

Let's take today to pray for our local leaders. Here is a list of Seattle's leaders. Pray they lead in a way that leads to "peaceful and quiet" lives for residents and that they would be saved!

Lord, we pray you will provide "wisdom from above" for these leaders according to James 3:17. We pray for pure, peace-loving leaders who exhibit gentleness and who are open to reason. We pray they'd be merciful and bear good fruit. We pray they'd be impartial and sincere. Reveal yourself to them, Father. Hear our prayers and move their hearts to love Jesus. Lord do this for your glory and our good. Amen.
