The Sprouts Children’s team desires to partner with parents in teaching their children to become more like Christ. On Sundays we establish a safe, welcoming and open environment for kids to learn about God through a creative a lesson, singing songs and an interactive activity. Our desire is to foster growth in kids to understand who our Heavenly Father is and how to have an intimate relationship with Him and for them to know how deeply He loves them. If you are interested in joining us as we come alongside families to help them encounter Christ and equip them with the Gospel, then reach out and sign up! We would like volunteers to be able to serve one Sunday per month for at least 6 months. We are also looking for "on call" volunteers as we continue to grow and need more help on Sunday mornings.

CREATIVE TEAM
The Roots Creative Team is responsible for all the marketing, photography and visual media at Roots. We are a team of graphic designers, photographers, filmmakers and architects that are passionate about sharing Roots with the community through visual media. If you have a knack for any of these skills and are interested in our team please sign up to let us know of your interest. As for time commitment, we ask that you can commit to two one-hour meetings per month and work an average of 4 hours of design work per month depending on projects available.

MEDIA TEAM
The Media Team serves at Sunday Gatherings and other events to help ensure everything sounds and looks great! Our Team is responsible for setting up and running sound, slides (propresenter), and other A/V needs. If you are an experienced sound engineer or just looking to learn something new, hit us up and let us know your interest! We would ask for you to be able to serve one to two times per month.

WORSHIP TEAM
The role of the worship team is to foster an environment for people to experience the presence of Christ through music and other elements. Each week those involved in the upcoming service will meet for a practice on Thursdays at 7pm and setup on Sundays at 3:15pm. As worship team members, we want our lives to reflect that of Christ and allow our worship to always point others toward Him. If God has given you a desire to worship Him through these areas and you’d like to get involved please sign up! The number of Sundays you play is flexible on your own schedule and we ask that you can attend a 1.5 hour team practice on Thursday evenings prior to the Sundays you play.

SET UP
SET UP : The Setup team helps create the atmosphere for Sunday mornings. We are looking for new members in all areas! We ask that you are able to commit two to three Sundays per month. The set-up crew arrives at 3pm to prepare for Root’s Sunday Gathering. This involves setting up chairs, banners, directional signs, and hospitality tables. The setup team is also the tear down team!

HOSPITALITY : The hospitality team serves the church in various capacities to create a welcoming environment. For Sunday gatherings, this includes providing snacks and greeting all who enter the community center. The hospitality team’s mission is to foster relationships and connect people to church resources.

COFFEE : The coffee team serves the church by brewing up delicious coffee each week! This team comes Sunday mornings before the service to make sure coffee is brewed and ready to go for all those who join us. We focus on featuring local coffee roasters and try to highlight companies that are making an impact to coffee farms and workers around the world.
